Teri continually sought opportunities to be involved in numerous research studies to advance cutting edge treatments. Her commitment to furthering research inspired Dan and Paula Elsom to start a foundation that would raise money for melanoma research. The Teri Lynn Kuhlman Cancer Foundation was organized in December of 2003 as a gift to Teri from Dan and Paula to continue her legacy and commitment to research. The TLK Cancer Foundation is committed to cancer prevention, awareness, and research. All funds raised by the TLK Cancer Foundation go to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle WA.
